Happiest Dog in Kyoto 🥹 I was done taking photos for the day - but then Rina and I spotted this CUTE dog across the street. Luckily, Rina loves dogs as much as I do, so she joined me in sprinting across the street to say hello 😂 This dog’s name is “Rob”, but it’s pronounced “Love”. (Which is awesome lol - a cute name mixed with a human name) Love is a 1 year old Border Collie who was visiting Kyoto with his parents. They love him, too, as they showed me hundreds of cute photos they’ve taken with their phones lol. They even showed us a photo where Love is wearing a TEENY-TINY crown. 👑😭 This dog is obviously well taken care of... just LOOK at that happy look on his face! Thanks for letting me take your portraits!! 🙏 — ✈️ Travel Notes At the end of the video you’ll notice that he reached out to shake my hand. This isn’t common in Japan - so when it happened, with him initiating it, it took me by surprise. He knew I’m from Canada, so I think it was his way of making me feel comfortable and showing a sign of thanks/respect. It’s a small gesture, but to me it was quite meaningful. This is just another reason why I love Japan so, so much!! The people have been so welcoming and kind.
