When people say “The monsterverse doesn’t have good human characters," I show them this scene. Quentin Tarantino admitted to crying during Juliette Binoche character's death scene. Tarantino stated it was "the first time I've ever cried during a 3-D blockbuster. This was a masterpiece scene. The alarms going off, you are torn between the love of your partner, or having to save the entire city from nuclear fallout. Horrible split second decision you have to make. You can see the pain in his face, amazing acting. The panic they captured is so real.
