Description

Me, Hera, and Dovah have been through a lot together. We’ve had years to build trust and understand each other. The reason I let Hera get this close without holding her tightly isn’t because I think she wouldn’t pounce—it’s because I know exactly how these two react to one another. Hestia tends to shadow Dovah, so I don’t worry about her much. The only real risk with her is flying—she’s nowhere near as skilled as Dovah, and if anything were to happen, it would be her getting startled and flying into a wall or window. Luckily, she seems to have absolutely no concept of fear. As for the other cats: Loki is more afraid of the cockatiels than they are of him. The triplets, though, are a different story. They’re young, bursting with energy, and not great listeners yet. That’s why Hera is the only cat I trust to be around the cockatiels while they’re roaming.
