Description
In this video I take a look at an old Ferguson TED20 petrol kero tractor that has been sitting forgotten in a paddock for the last 8 years. With years of dust, weather, and neglect, this classic tractor hasn’t turned a wheel in nearly a decade.
Will it start again? Or is it beyond repair?
I go through the process of checking it over and freeing things up, running through the usual startup procedure and seeing what it takes to bring this old Ferguson back to life. I investigate gearbox issues and fuel systems that are in poor condition. These tractors were built tough and the Ferguson TED20 was one of the most popular tractors of their time. They were rated at approximately 28 horsepower and manufactured in Coventry, England, from about 1946 to 1956. The little Ferguson was built with a reputation for ruggedness; however sitting exposed to the elements for this long can cause all sorts of problems.
Does this tractor have a chance of running again?
If you enjoy old tractor revivals, and bringing forgotten equipment back to life, stay tuned to see if this 'Little Grey Fergie” has one last breath in her."
Thanks for watching.
