The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a modern tribute to the legendary supercar that defined the 1970s and 80s. Unveiled in 2021 to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the original prototype, this limited-run masterpiece bridges the gap between heritage and future technology. Mechanically, it shares its DNA with the Sian FKP 37. It features a mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine paired with a 48-volt electric motor powered by a supercapacitor. This hybrid powertrain produces a combined 814 metric horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 2.8 seconds. Visually, the design captures the essence of the Marcello Gandini original. It avoids the aggressive wings found on modern Aventadors in favor of clean lines, iconic wedge shaping, and hexagonal wheel arches. Only 112 units were produced, a number chosen to reference the LP 112 internal project name used during the original Countach development.
