Reuters confirmed the location as Dehloran from the statue, statue base and utility poles seen in the video which matched corroborating video and file images. Three persons wearing similar colored apparels standing around the statue can also be seen in corroborating footage. Reuters was not able to verify the exact time when the video was filmed. No earlier versions of the video were found posted online before March 1. Hours after both nations said an air strike killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the most ambitious series of attacks on Iran in decades, the country's state media confirmed the 86-year-old leader's death on Feb. 28.
