Here is Kurples Recipe
Glaze
-1 tablespoon gochujang
-1 tablespoon soy
-1 tablespoon rice vinegar
-1 teaspoon sesame oil
-1 teaspoon brown sugar or honey
-1 clove garlic, minced
Kimchi Slaw
-1/2 cup shredded cabbage
-1/4 cup chopped kimchi, with a splash of the juice
-1 tablespoon mayo
-Pinch of sugar
-3 green onions, chopped
Burger
-16 ounces 80/20 ground beef
-Kosher salt & coarse ground black pepper
-1 tablespoon gochujang
-4 slices American cheese
-2 soft buns
Directions
1. Stir glaze ingredients together in a small bowl, set aside
2. Combine cabbage, kimchi with juice and mayo - mix well
3. Season the beef balls with salt and pepper, and spoon gochujang on top of each one
4. Get your skillet or griddle super hot, add a little oil then put the beef balls - gochujang-side down and smash hard
5. Let it crust, flip, brush with the glaze, add cheese and cover to melt
Build - toast buns, add some glaze then top with 2 patties each, the slaw and top bun with more glaze
