A Toronto landlord bought a 53-unit building and has issued at least 56 eviction notices

Since buying the 53-unit apartment building at 80 Guestville Ave. in June of 2023, the landlord has applied to evict residents at least 56 times. Many of the eviction applications are for renovations, several are for the use of air conditioning units, and a few are for unpaid rent.
