Description
I took my DJI Mic 3 out into the forest and just wanted to see how it really sounds straight out of camera. Everything you hear at the start is completely unedited, recorded with the DJI Mic 3 connected to the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro (without the receiver).
Then I went through a few different ways to improve that audio:
1️⃣ Manual audio mixing:
using compression, EQ, limiter and de-essing manually in post to get cleaner dialogue and better balance.
2️⃣ Adobe Podcast Enhance Speech
the AI voice enhancer that removes background noise and gives that “studio mic” tone (great for podcasts or voiceovers but not so great for outdoor shots imo).
3️⃣ Auphonic
an online AI tool that automatically mixes and levels your voice tracks, with noise reduction, compression, EQ and custom presets.
4️⃣ Accentize dxRevive
one of my favorite pro VST plugins for restoring and cleaning up dialogue (sounds amazing and lets you control the amount of noise reduction with a single know, but it’s more expensive).
This video is not sponsored by any of the brands mentioned in this video.
I simply wanted to compare how all these tools perform when processing the same DJI Mic 3 recording outdoors.
