Description
Take -
1/4 Cup Tur Dal
1/4 Cup Masoor Dal
1/2 Cup Chana Daal
Soaked for 1 hour.
Pressure cook this for 4-5 whistles along with
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
2 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp Oil
4 cups of water
Once done, Open the lid and whisk it lightly. Add 1/2kg of bottle gourd and cook till bottle gourd 50% tender (Approx 10-12 mins on low flame)
Dal Gosht Masala Powder-
Dry Roast and Grind the following-
1 Tsp Coriander Seeds
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp Fennel Seeds
1/4 Tsp Blackpepper corns
1 Star Anise
1 Dry Red Chilli
Roast all of these. Switch off the flame and then add
1 Tbsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves.
Just mix and close flame. Then grind
Now in another pressure cooker, Add
5 Tbsp Oil
1 Pc Cinnamon
3 Green Cardamom
1 Black Cardamom
3 Cloves
2 Bay Leaves
2 Onions Chopped
When the onions are slightly golden, Add,
500gms Mutton
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt
Cook this for 8-10 mins on high flame. Stir continuously.
Then add,
2 Tomatoes Chopped
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
2 Tsp Green Chillies paste
1/2 Cup Water
Pressure cook this till mutton is tender.
Now in a vessel,
Add the cooked mutton along with
1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Tbsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Cumin Powder
Cook this well till oil separates.
Now add in the cooked daal mixture along with the bottlegourd
Also add,
1/2 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
Prepared Dal Gosht Masala
Coriander Leaves
Mix well and cook for 10 mins on low flame (Half covered)
Finally, Add 2 Tbsp of Tamarind Pulp and cook for 5 minutes, Close flame.
Serve with rice and enjoy 🎈
