What I didn't expect was for it to teach me a real life lesson and make me question my own integrity. It's become very apparent just how detached we are as a society about where are food comes from and how people are happy to be ignorant to the truth. And the truth is if you can't do the hard stuff then you just shouldn't bring animals into this world at all.
