Sanath Jayasuriya was in no mood to play boring test cricket against the likes of Shaun Pollock and co during the 1st test at Galle. Jayasuriya was immediately in the offense to the extent that he scored 96 runs in the pre-lunch session. Sanath was aided by not-so-impressive bowling by the unorthodox leg-spinner Paul Adams.
