Ranking Cities in Germany 👇
Miltenberg – 5/10
Super picturesque, like a postcard come to life. But aside from a quick wander and some photos, there’s not much to do. Cute for a half-day trip, but felt a bit too sleepy for me.
Munich – 7.5/10
Clean, organized, and full of beer gardens. I liked it, but didn’t love it. Maybe too polished? The vibe didn’t hit as hard as in other cities, but I can see the appeal—especially in summer or during Oktoberfest.
Frankfurt – 4/10
Felt very business-y and a bit soulless. Not much charm in the city center, though the skyline is cool and it’s great for international connections. One of those places I’m glad I saw, but wouldn’t rush back to.
Ludwigsburg – 6.5/10
Honestly, the palace is gorgeous. That alone is worth a stop. The town itself is cute and livable, but not exactly buzzing. Would recommend for a peaceful escape or a half-day trip from Stuttgart.
Berlin – 8/10
Messy, bold, and full of character. Some parts felt like a time capsule, others like the future. Incredible nightlife, history on every corner, and loads of creativity. It’s not for everyone, but I loved it.
Heidelberg – 9/10
This place charmed the hell out of me. The old town, the castle views, the river walk—it’s all super romantic without being cheesy. It’s touristy, yes, but it earns it. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
