We Build the World’s First 500HP VXR V6 Vauxhall Adam!

Ever wondered what it takes to make a 500HP V6 Vauxhall Adam work? Driveshafts, boost pipes and a massive turbo. Welcome back to the V6 Vauxhall Adam build, powered by a 2.8 L VXR V6 from a Vectra VXR.In the last episode we got the engine sitting perfectly in the bay… now it’s time to make it actually work. In this video we design and build custom driveshafts, mock up the boost pipes and intercooler, and start the full coolant and heater systems. We also visit Scanifab, a Saab specialist running a near-600 HP version of this same engine, to see just how far this platform can be pushed. And finally, the moment everyone’s been waiting for, we reveal the massive turbo that’s going into the Adam. It’s bigger than you think. This episode is pure progress and fabrication.
