A true crowd-pleaser that never fails. 🍛💛 Recipe: Lamb Rezala from Dhaka recipe Ingredients: 1kg Lamb Shoulder 1 cup plain yoghurt, 1/2 cup fried onions, 10 cashews, and 8-9 raisins 4 tbsp ghee 6 cloves 2 star anise 2 cinnamon sticks 6 cardamoms 2 bay leaves 1 tsp shah jeera 1 large chopped onion 1/4 tsp mace 1/4 tsp nutmeg 2 tbsp garlic paste 1 tbsp ginger paste 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tsp red chili powder 1 cup water 10 Aloo Bukhara 1 cup hot milk 1 tsp garam masala Salt accordingly Instructions: 1. Blend plain yoghurt, fried onions, cashew, and raisins with water and set the paste aside for later use 2. Add ghee in pan along with cloves, pepper, cinnamon sticks, mace, nutmeg, cardamom, bay leaves, and sliced raw onion and fry until soft 3. Stir in garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander, cumin, red chili and fry this mix 4. Add dried lamb shoulders 5. Mix with the spices and cook for 35 minutes on low heat with lid on 6. Stir occasionally 7. Pour the yoghurt paste into the pot and stir 8. Cook for another 25 minutes on low heat with lid on 9. Add garam masala and salt, season to taste 10. Uncover and pour hot milk 11. Mix well and cook until soft on low heat 12. Add Aloo Bukhara 13.
