Why This Cane Corso Keeps Lunging at People and How to Start Fixing It

Big boy Corso lunging at people. ⠀ ⠀ So what can you do with a giant dog jumping out at people like this? ⠀ ⠀ Well the first thing I try to do is figure out WHY? If you can….⠀ ⠀ There’s a lot to unpack from a training perspective. We need to figure out why BUT we also need to make sure we are safe and stopping the lunging…. ⠀ ⠀ Guys 8/10 dogs end up like this from lack of structure or solid obedience. So in this case, I had to teach the owner how to handle A dog not a large 150lb Corso. ⠀ ⠀ So we worked on basics while trying to tame the beast!
