Weather Impact Alert: Storms underway west of Cleveland

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the following counties until 5:30 p.m. this afternoon: Huron County Northern Richland County Erie County Southwestern Cuyahoga County Western Medina County Northern Ashland County Lorain County The NWS reports that at 5:02 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles northwest of Avon Lake to Wakeman to near Plymouth, moving east at 60 mph. This storm may produce 70 mph winds and penny size hail.
