We brought Edison Motors' electric drive axle to Detroit for one of the most important tests we've ever done. Before these axles can go on trucks, they need to prove they meet strict braking performance requirements and pass government compliance testing. Things didn't go according to plan. After failing our first attempt, we worked alongside the testing team to uncover what happened, correct the issue, and run the tests again.
