Ingredients & Estimated Quantities:

• Potatoes: 2 large (Peeled and halved)
• Onions: 2 medium (Thinly sliced for frying) The onions are fried until golden brown (birista).

• Curd/Yogurt: ~1/2 cup (Mixed with spices)
• Cooking Oil/Ghee: 3–4 tbsp
• Spices: Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
• Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
• Biryani Masala: 1.5 tbsp
• Green Chilies: 2–3 (Slit)
For the Garnish/Layering:
• Milk: 1/4 cup
• Saffron: A few strands (Infused in the milk)
• Salt as per taste
