The Guinea Pig Who Inspired the Chonky Piggie Club 🤍 | Teacake's Story

🤍 This is Teacake. Teacake was our beautiful teddy guinea pig and the inspiration behind the Chonky Piggie Club Collection. After she passed away last year, I knew I wanted to find a way to keep her memory alive. The idea for this collection stayed in my head for over a year before I finally turned it into reality. Every illustration was created with Teacake in mind. Her little chonky cheeks, her gentle personality, and the happiness she brought to our family are now part of something that can continue making people smile. Sometimes I wonder what she'd think if she could see herself on mugs, t-shirts, keyrings, stickers and so much more. I'd like to think she'd simply expect extra treats and a cosy place to nap. 💕 I wish she could have seen what she inspired, but knowing that her memory now lives on in artwork, handmade creations and in the hearts of so many people means the world to us.
