Australia Awards Fellowship 2024

In November 2024, the University of Melbourne and the Pacific Climate Change Centre jointly coordinated the Australia Awards Fellowship program on ‘Advancing Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Just Energy Transitions in the Indo-Pacific’. The University hosted 15 Fellows from across the Pacific and West Indian Ocean, who attended a six-week training program on climate adaptation, resilience, and just energy transitions. The Australia Awards Fellowship is an immersive leadership, capacity development, knowledge exchange and networking initiative, designed to equip Fellows with additional skills, networks, and resources to drive action on climate adaptation, resilience and just energy transition priorities in their respective countries across the Indo-Pacific.
