Description
Premier Doug Ford has announced that his government will be lifting the tuition freeze that's been in place since 2019. Colleges and universities will now be able to raise fees 2 per cent a year for three years. And the Ontario Student Assistance Program, better known as OSAP, is changing too. It used to be mostly grants. Now it'll be mostly loans. How will tuition hikes and the prospect of more debt affect the decisions students make? We discuss with Cyrielle Ngeleka, chairperson of the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario.
