Saluyot or jute leaves (Corchorus olitorius) is a nutritious edible leaf that can be found in some of our favorite dishes like Dinengdeng and Bulanglang. 🌱 It is also a known ingredient in the Middle East and Africa for dishes like Molokhia soup and Ewedu soup. 🍲 For our first Edible Leaves episode, Ynna made crispy chips from our fresh harvest of saluyot leaves. 🍃 What should we cook next? Comment your suggestions! 💚 CRISPY SALUYOT CHIPS Ingredients: 2 cups saluyot leaves, cleaned ½ cup all-purpose flour ¼ cup cornstarch 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp paprika salt to taste oil for frying Procedure: 1.
