Here’s what I ate to celebrate Luna New Year // Eat Street Northshore

Brisbane knows the deal… when you’re hungry on the weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun Nights) @eatstreet Northshore is the only answer 🔥🍜 And in my world, there’s no better way to celebrate Lunar New Year than stacking the table with a full Asia Street feast. We kicked things off with grilled Filipino squid from Karinderia, smoky, tender, packed with flavour. Then straight into a banh mi from Vietnamese Shack and charcoal chicken skewers that didn’t stand a chance. The teriyaki chicken okonomiyaki from Japanese Pizza Kotetsu was a serious play… but those cheesy Mari Mari skewers? Crowd favourite for sure. Dumplings from Funky Dragon, elite pad Thai from Khao Sarn, then a Halo Halo reset before diving into honey chicken from Little Shanghai and Thai satay with rice. Of course I had to lock in a bowl of chicken pho… washed down with Organic Tea House iced teas to keep the engine running. Mi goreng was flying… but I won’t lie, that pork ramen from Tokyo Tucka had me questioning how much room I had left in the tank. I still found space for loaded katsu potato gems. But Dessert?
