Suspects charged with murder in death of Fort Hood soldier Gregory Wedel-Morales

After more than six years of investigation, the Killeen Police Department (KPD) announced murder charges have been filed against two suspects in the death of Gregory Wedel-Morales, a Fort Hood soldier who vanished in August 2019. Wedel-Morales was reported missing to KPD on Aug. 23, 2019. On June 21, 2020, skeletal remains found in Killeen were identified as those of the missing Ft. Hood soldier.
