Description
In this YachtBuyer yacht tour, Jack Haines gets onboard the Solaris Power 70 Long Range at boot Düsseldorf for a full walkthrough of the most ambitious yacht the yard has built. Measuring 21.24m (69.7ft) with a 5.99m (19.7ft) beam, this is the first in a new long-distance range from Solaris Power. With twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350s delivering 2,000hp total, this is a cruising yacht built for comfort, efficiency and serious time aboard.
The deck layout is built around real-world use, with a split-level hydraulic platform, a 4m (13.1ft) tender garage, and one of the largest cockpits in the class. The foredeck creates another usable zone with fixed sunpads and seating that stays ready to go, while the flybridge spans 40 sq/m and includes sunloungers aft, a dining area midships, and a forward helm with built-in seating. There’s a proper wet bar, integrated shade options, and storage exactly where you want it.
Inside, the saloon is open-plan and flat throughout, with big drop-down windows and a galley-forward layout on this custom hull. The main deck connects directly to the cockpit without steps, and there’s the option for a fold-out balcony amidships in the standard spec. Below deck, there are up to four guest cabins plus a separate crew space. The full-beam owner’s suite sits amidships with a flat floor and excellent headroom throughout.
This is a three or four-cabin luxury yacht with serious range and proper engineering. The owner’s suite includes a walk-in wardrobe and a large ensuite with beam-to-beam layout. The VIP forward also has its own bathroom, while the twin and single cabins share a generous dayhead. There’s crew accommodation aft, with washer-dryer, shower and TV. If you want a long-range yacht that feels capable and composed at sea, but still looks and behaves like a Solaris, this is it.
