New South Auckland haka team embracing the next generation

A plea from rangatahi in Manurewa to continue their haka journey beyond high school has led to the formation of a new kapa haka, Te Whitireia ki Tua. Led by Terehia and Kere Matua, the group is grounded in whānau and community, with Kere returning from Australia to help tutor alongside his sister. Te Karere spoke with the Matua whānau about their new kaupapa.
