If you have ever tried the drill where you place an alignment stick on your putter and then press it into your chest then youll know that it can 1. scratch your putter and 2. it actually hurts your chest after a while of use . I was swapping between a broom stick and the normal shaft for my sausage putter when I saw that the broomstick shaft happened to sit perfectly into my chest . That is another thing with the alignment stick method is that it can be a bit short if you are a bit taller . The shaft interchanges with the sausage modular system so if it was made correctly with an interchangeable length then it could be swapped in and out of the putter for when you want to use it in play and when practicing .
