A small solution to a stupid webcam problem? (SmallRig Mounts I'm using)

I've got a small problem with my talking head camera setup. For a long time I've been using my DSLR (a Panasonic Lumix GH4) as my main webcam and that's mounted to an Elgato Master Mount with a ball head so I can adjust it into a good position. The downside is this sits above my monitor, which in itself is a bit of a beast. So in order to get a good angle I have to put my monitor all the way down out of the way. Which means not only clearing my desk, but also making sure that anything I need to read off the screen is easily visible. I've been searching for a solution to this issue and might have found one, perhaps, with some SmallRig parts I bought.
