A northwest suburban man has been charged with attempted murder after an argument reportedly led to a stabbing in the Loop on Thursday night, Chicago police have announced. Alejandro Tellez, 36, of Schaumburg is charged with attempted first-degree murder, as well as one felony count of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and one felony count of aggravated battery with use of a deadly weapon.
