This week at Edison Motors we take on one of the biggest jobs yet: tearing down the old warehouse on the property. Engineers confirmed the structure was too far gone to save, so demolition was the only option. Working right beside an active CP Rail main line, the crew carefully dismantles the warehouse using excavators, a log loader, and demolition attachments. Every move has to be controlled to keep debris away from the railway while salvaging as much material as possible. Along the way we recover massive beams, sort scrap metal for recycling, and even bring out a giant wrecking ball to finish the job. What started as a dangerous, condemned warehouse ends with a safe demolition completed days ahead of schedule.
