Quick disclaimer: everything I’ll share in this video is based on my own experience during our stay here. Miniloc is one of four luxury island resorts under El Nido Resorts, together with Pangulasian Island, Lagen Island, and Apulit Island. Each has its own charm, but so far, we’ve only tried Miniloc where we stayed in Water Cottage or overwater villa. The rest of El Nido Resorts are still on my bucket list and I’m crossing my fingers I’ll be able to try them soon! Location At number 7 is the location, Miniloc Resort is located in Miniloc Island which is part of the Bacuit Bay group of islands in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. It is just right beside the entrance to the famous Big Lagoon. Most tourists line up on boat tours just to get there, but as a guest at Miniloc, you can literally kayak over before the crowds arrive. That alone makes it one of the best spots to stay if you want easy access to El Nido’s highlights. Getting here is also seamless as they have airport transfers. From Lio Airport, it’s just a 10–15 minute van ride to the El Nido pier, and then a quick 15-minute speedboat ride straight to the resort. How to Book? We booked our stay at a discounted rate during a travel expo. If there’s no expo, I usually book through Agoda or Klook since their rates are more affordable. Breakfast, lunch, dinner—all are included in your stay. And it’s not just simple meals, We’re talking about fresh seafood, Filipino dishes, and international favorites. We arrived during lunch time and we were surprised that the buffet lunch upon arrival is included! We really enjoyed the buffets! I don’t have a lot of restaurant clips since the resort is very exclusive, and of course, we respected the privacy of other guests.
