A drone attack has struck a nuclear power plant in the UAE, resulting in a fire within the plant's generator. Agencies in Abu Dhabi have released official information regarding this incident. According to reports, the drone attack targeted the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, located in the Al Dhafra region. The Abu Dhabi Media Office has confirmed this development. As per the information available, no injuries have been reported in this attack so far, nor are there any reports of radiation leakage from the plant. The Federal Authority responsible for operating the nuclear plant has stated that the facility's essential systems are functioning normally. In this regard, the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation affirmed that the incident has not compromised the safety of the nuclear facility, and all its units continue to operate as usual. Meanwhile, in light of this attack, Bahrain has declared its highest level of alert. It is worth noting that the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant is the UAE's sole nuclear facility and is considered critically important for the country's energy security.
