Marcos Jr. and President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea (ROK) join business leaders for the Philippines-Korea Business Forum at the Conrad Hotel Manila in Pasay City on March 4, 2026. The ROK remains a major trading partner of the Philippines, accounting for 7.9% of total imports (US$10.58 billion) in 2025, with Philippine shipments to Korea totaling US$272.09 million in December alone, reflecting strong growth in the semiconductor, electronics, automotive and agriculture sectors. The Philippines-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which took effect in December 2024, has played a significant role in boosting these trade ties.
