Healthy Browse for Gorillas

Browse is zoo speak for leafy branches, it's great for the gorillas as it's full of fibre and nutrients and low in sugars. Most people, from what I hear, seem to think apes live on bananas. Cultivated fruit is very high in sugars, it bears no relation to wild fruits out in the jungle, so zoos have to be careful what they give to prevent tooth decay and loss.
