Universal Studios Hollywood’s Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is coming closer than ever to opening to the public, being one of the few powered spinning coasters in the world and a first for Universal Studios Hollywood! Being built on what used to be trees on the side of a mountain, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is not only one of the not anticipated attractions coming to Universal Studios Hollywood, but it is also a major feat in engineering and design! Today, we visit Universal Studios Hollywood under the pretense that there might be a soft opening for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, allowing riders to experience the attraction before it officially opens to the public! Unfortunately, due to technical issues, the coaster did not end up opening, however, we did get some amazing views of multiple vehicles running along the track at the load station as well as the overlook by Secret Life of Pets! We also take a ride on Universal’s Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Secret Life of Pets: off the Leash attractions!
