18 Bandidos Bikies Charged and Motorcycles Seized After Reckless Freeway Convoy in Perth

#gridsparta #bikies #bandidos Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad have charged 18 patched Bandidos outlaw motorcycle bikie members and seized their motorcycles following a traffic incident in Baldivis on Friday, 16 January 2026. About 5.25pm, police received reports of a large group of bikie members gathered at a service station on Safety Bay Road. Significant police resources, including the Police Air Wing, were deployed to the area. Police allege the group was later seen riding in convoy and travelling recklessly northbound on the Kwinana Freeway. When ground units activated lights and sirens, the riders allegedly failed to stop and continued at excessive speed. It is further alleged that two motorcyclists deliberately blocked police vehicles to help the rest of the convoy escape. Police later stopped traffic on the Kwinana Freeway near Millar Road, bringing the convoy to a halt. Eighteen men were arrested and their motorcycles seized. They have been charged with reckless driving to escape police and failing to comply with a direction to stop under aggravated circumstances. Two men, aged 44 and 41, were also charged with obstructing public officers. The men are scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court across several dates between 28 January and 9 February 2026. Three occupants of a white Holden Caprice sedan were issued dispersal notices, and one other motorcyclist received a traffic infringement.
