This meeting at Premier Speedway was a special night known as “Max’s Race”, held to celebrate the incredible career of Australian sprintcar legend Max Dumesny. Max Dumesny is widely regarded as one of the greatest sprintcar drivers Australia has ever produced, with multiple Australian Sprintcar Championships and countless feature race victories across the country. His aggressive driving style and success at tracks like Premier Speedway made him a fan favourite for decades.
