Slingshot Ride called Steel Max Breaks Injuring Riders

Wild! A slingshot-style ride called the Steel Max, carrying two riders aged 11 and 17, started swinging violently before slamming into a support pole after the cable snapped. The incident happened at the Feria de Abril in Seville, Spain, which is a massive temporary fairground set up each year. Two bystanders received minor injuries, with all four treated on site and the riders taken to the hospital to get checked out. The ride has been shut down.
