The original engine failed. The dealer replaced it, and then that engine failed too. Instead of finding the root cause, a third engine was installed and the truck was sent back down the road. Today, we have both failed engines in our shop. Before we tear them apart, we want to hear your guess: Was it a bad engine? A bad installation? Or was there something wrong with the truck itself that nobody ever found? To make matters worse, there are several electrical issues, including a battery that reportedly exploded, a tuner that isn’t working correctly, and accessories that won’t shut off with the truck. The customer was also told the shop that built the engine won’t warranty the leaks.
