God's Medicine Bottle

Pastor John Hagee reminds us that one of the enemy's greatest strategies is to rob believers of their joy. Anxiety, fear, depression, resentment, insecurity, rejection, and discouragement are not just emotions—they are weapons designed to steal your strength, destroy your peace, and cripple your future. Yet God's Word provides a powerful remedy. Proverbs 17:22 declares, "A merry heart does good like a medicine." God never intended for His children to live under the constant weight of despair. Through faith, laughter, gratitude, and confidence in His promises, we can resist the attacks of the enemy and reclaim the joy that belongs to us. When circumstances seem overwhelming, remember that joy is not determined by your situation—it is rooted in your relationship with Jesus Christ. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life more abundantly. When fear whispers defeat, answer with the Word of God. When discouragement tries to settle into your spirit, choose to rejoice in the Lord. As Isaiah promised, those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. Today, take a dose of God's medicine bottle. Choose a merry heart, trust His promises, and allow the joy of the Lord to become your strength.
