27 Dead As Fire Erupts At Bangkok Pub | 10 News

Twenty-seven people have died and another 63 have been injured after a fire erupted inside a popular pub in Bangkok, Thailand. According to Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, 22 of the injured are in critical condition. The fire broke out just before midnight on Sunday, July 12. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the site on Monday and told reporters that, based on survivor accounts, the venue had rapidly filled with smoke - forcing many to run to the back of the pub.
