Rachel needs all the POTP you can muster. Bloodwork today revealed worsening bone marrow suppression, and showed her body is not yet strong enough to start fighting the virus. However… At her 3am visit, she ate a tiny amount of churu, and has continued to eat tiny amounts of churu through her afternoon visits. She growled at a nurse. She purred during snuggles. She looks just the tiniest bit brighter. She’s maintaining her vitals. While we’re comforted to hear she may be feeling the tiniest bit better, we also need to remember she’s fighting a nearly impossible battle, with zero reserves. Her prognosis remains grave. But she’s in the best possible hands at @bbvsh_surrey, and all we can do is continue to hold our breath and hope for a miracle.
