Risk of 'fire highway' in Lillooet as flammable invasive weeds take over corridors and landscapes

The community of Lillooet and a UBC researcher are working together to find out how an invasive weed is increasing wildfire risk. As the CBC's Shelley Joyce reports, the cheatgrass that grows along railroad tracks and road ways is highly flammable and is flourishing in areas that have been decimated by wildfire.
