In 2026, Scotland heads to the polls, and we believe dogs deserve a voice in that election too. The last five years have brought unprecedented challenges. The pandemic and cost-of-living crisis reshaped dog ownership across Scotland, leaving more dogs in need and more owners struggling to cope. We’ve adapted - doing everything we can to keep dogs and families together, and partnering with MSPs to deliver real progress. Together, we’ve successfully campaigned for compulsory microchipping, tougher penalties for cruelty, stronger licensing of breeders and rehoming organisations, and laws to tackle dog theft. With the next Scottish Parliament now in sight, our manifesto for Scotland’s dogs shows candidates exactly what we stand for, and what we want to see from candidates if they’re elected.
