This F-14 Is CURSED… I Refuse To Fly It Again!

This was supposed to be the redemption flight for my Fattie F-14… but it didn’t go that way. A few weeks ago, I flew this jet in freezing temps. The servos were sluggish, the landing gear failed, and the flight was all over the place. Before that, an earlier Fattie F-14 ended in a crash years ago... so this was meant to be the follow-up that finally put things right. After new servos were installed and the landing gear was repaired, we brought it back to the field. Tom Hunt flew it beautifully and absolutely loved it. Then I took the controls… and everything went wrong. The crash was bad enough that I decided I was done flying it for good. Tom took the jet home, rebuilt it again, and even flew it successfully one more time.. but at this point, I’m convinced this F-14 is cursed. I refuse to touch it again. I do think Tom Hunt will make this FPV in the spring so definitely stay tuned for that!
