Description

The most asked question on our YouTube channel is “how many calories does this burn?” Although some channels may include it, we find that it can be very misleading and ultimately detrimental to your goals. We recently filmed a 30 minute strength workout and we burned a difference of 150 calories. That variance is too wide to generalize a set calorie burn that would fit most people. For a cardio workout we’ve seen a difference of 200-300 calories between us. That being said, a thumbnail should not define what your calorie burn is for a workout. We recommend using some sort of fitness tracker to more accurately estimate your calories burned for any given workout. As trainers, we understand that calorie burn is determined by so many different factors: height, weight, age, body fat %, muscle mass, and so much more. Most importantly, the effectiveness of a workout of a workout shouldn’t be determined by the amount of calories burned. đŸ”„
