Bu köy, Sivas'ın en kuzeyinde bulunan Koyulhisar kazasına bağlı bir köydür. Koyulhisar ilçesinin de kuzeyinde bulunan bu köyün rakımı 1650 metre olup iklimi konum itibarıyla karadeniz yaylalarını aratmamaktadır.
