Description

It was a picture-perfect morning at Cape Cross, but among the sunbathing colony, a seal was sporting a massive packing strap entanglement - something nearly impossible to miss, yet the seal himself was not going to be easy to catch! Rescuer Naude had to move fast to interrupt this seal's sunbath. While the strap hadn't started cutting into the flesh yet, it was a ticking time bomb. Left alone, this 'accessory' would have inevitably turned into a slow-motion death sentence. We are so grateful we spotted him early; this was a quick, clean win for the team and a very lucky day for a beautiful seal. Most aren't this fortunate, but we'll take every victory we can get. 🦭 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Please visit our website to find out more about our work and how to support us: ➡ Website: https://www.ocnamibia.org/ ➡ Donate via Paypal: https://ow.ly/BTm550PIavq ➡ Donate via Stripe: https://ow.ly/Xy1F50PIMzQ ➡ Support via Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/OCN ➡ FAQs: https://www.ocnamibia.org/faqs Follow us on social media: ➡ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oceanconservationnamibia/ ➡ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OCNamibia ➡ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@oc_namibia ➡ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/ocnamibia/ ➡ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ocnamibia 😊 Thank you for every like, share, comment and subscribe 😊 Ocean Conservation International is registered as a non-profit organisation under chapter 501(c)3.
