Description
UNICEF spokesperson Tess Ingram reports from the Gaza Strip on Nov. 4, 2025, where UNICEF has launched an integrated health, nutrition and immunization campaign to reach children who missed out on lifesaving vaccinations because of the decimation of the health system over the past two years.
To implement the campaign, UNICEF has trained hundreds of health workers and brought in vaccines, syringes and solar-powered refrigerators to ensure vaccines are kept at the right temperature. UNICEF is also delivering essential nutrition supplies for malnourished children and rehabilitating health facilities damaged during the conflict.
In order to reach every child, no matter where they are, "the ceasefire must hold and civilians must be protected," Ingram says.
